The Cat and The Mouse is an animation exercise created for a group project by Tiffany Lee, Laura Yiu, Wing Li, Wendy Yeung and Ling Ngai.
Based on the 30 screenshots, composes a new animation by adding 30 more drawings/collages and output an MP4 video according to the tutorial.
It is an animation exercise which talks about the interaction of a cat and a mouse. The characters keep changing their position and distance from close to far, then back to close. The cat and the mouse could not stand each other but also could not leave each other.
To create the animation, my main role of the project is dancing for creating the images for illustrations. Illustrate frames from 40 to 50 and 77 to 87.
Then, Paganini to work with dancing exercise and study the rhythm patterns with the help of the corresponding video. Transform the image sequence into a digital flip book by using Google Slides with around 100 frames.
In this run, exercise allows the team to familiar the steps of drawing and the process of transferring images, as well as the dividing the works.
